Super Bowl Party

It's that time! Whether your team made it to the big game or not a Super Bowl party is always a good idea!

Cody & I have hosted our fair share of Super Bowl parties, but last year was by far my favorite. We had some of our college friends over to watch the game & host a Chili Cook-Off! Not only did this cut down on the cost of food, but it gave something for non-football watchers to do besides wait for the commercials! The winner got a cute apron & bragging rights! Since I loved last year's party so much I thought I would share my table decor & my favorite dip!

My favorite tip for any party is protecting your table if you're using your dining room table. For this party I used simple kraft paper & simply drew some football plays! Simple, affordable, & saves your table from any nasty spills!

I found these cute football players at Hobby Lobby as well as the moss planter perfect for flatware & moss peel & stick square to add the look of turf to the table. A few years ago Target had these cute tassels in about every color imaginable. Being the crazy person I am, I bought a ton of colors, but have used them more times that I can count!

Now onto the main event... the food! I like to keep things simple when hosting. Some chicken tenders, fruit, cheese, & of course dips! Our favorite dip is by far Buffalo Chicken Dip. It's nothing fancy, but I've become known for it & have even given batches of it for birthdays & Christmas presents!

Ingredients (I usually double for parties!)

1lb Chicken Breasts
8oz. Cream Cheese
1/2 Bottle of Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce (Depends on how hot you like it!)
1/2 Cup of Blue Cheese Dressing (Can swap for Ranch Dressing)
1/2 Cup of Blue Cheese Crumbles
1/2 Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Boil chicken breasts until fully cooked. Drain & shred with two forks. Add the remaining ingredients until mixed all together. You can either put the mix into the crockpot or pop in the oven at 350 degrees from 15 mins or until hot. Serve with tortilla chips & be prepared to be hooked!
